I am a Mechatronics Engineer graduate from Tecnológico de Monterrey and Ph:D student in the University of California San Diego in the program of Materials Science and Engineering.

I had the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience through internships at companies like SOFI Essilor Luxottica and Jabil. My responsibilities included developing preventive maintenance schedules, integrating new equipment, and providing technical support for manufacturing production lines.

Alongside my engineering work, I have pursued other interests like multimedia content creation, teaching, and research. I produced a podcast and created audiovisual material for my university, taught advanced English courses, and contributed to research projects at UCSD studying neutron detection materials and imaging techniques.

Through leadership roles in student organizations, I've developed skills in event planning, team coordination, and community outreach. My international experience studying in Canada has given me greater cross-cultural understanding.

I am proficient with engineering and creative software tools as well as programming languages like C++, Python, and PLC/microcontroller programming. My technical skills are complemented by strengths in communication, critical thinking, and adaptability.

I am passionate about applying my knowledge to solve complex problems. With my diverse experiences, I am prepared to take on new challenges and make valuable contributions as I continue growing professionally. My goal is to have a positive impact through diligence, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to excellence.

Currently working into learning ABAQUS to create cool simulations on Finite Element Analysis.

I love creating audiovisual content in my free time. Creating videos is one of my favorite things to do and I want to share this with you, (in a few months).
